Strasbourg is home to 3FortSoft, an independent game studio and the trading name of 3FORTSOFT. We design restoration puzzles for Android inspired by the ruined castles that crown the hills of the Alsatian Vosges.

Each ruin needs its walls, towers and gates rebuilt. Stones of different sizes must be laid in an order that keeps every course level, and arches only hold once their keystone is in place.

The game is calm and forgiving. Nothing collapses, a misplaced stone is simply lifted again, and a gentle hint shows which part of the wall needs attention next. There are no timers, enemies or purchases.

The landscapes are drawn from the forests and vineyards around the studio, with mist in the valleys and storks on the chimneys. Each restored castle reveals a short, illustrated legend from local history, written in plain language.

Finished castles can be visited at different times of day and appear on a hand-drawn map of the region.

Each castle takes around twenty minutes to restore, spread over as many sessions as the player likes. The game works offline and remembers the exact position of every stone, so a wall can be left half built and resumed later. Castles are arranged along a route that follows the real Alsatian hills from north to south, and each one introduces a new building technique such as the drawbridge, the round tower or the curtain wall. The text is available in French and English, and players can switch language at any time from the settings. A short animated postcard celebrates each finished castle, showing the walls rising again in the morning light, and the regional map slowly fills with restored silhouettes as the journey continues. Restoration never needs a connection and there is nothing to buy, ever.
